THE INSPIRATION
This one gets quoted as an insult, which is a shame, because it is really about stewardship. A pig is not wicked for ignoring a pearl. A pig cannot tell a pearl from a stone, and will grind it into the mud looking for something to eat. Jesus is saying that some things you carry are holy, and not every room is the right room to set them down in. Discernment is not the same as contempt. Know what you are holding, and know who is ready to see it.
